Port Hood is home to five all natural beaches all within bicycle distance of each other. Take your bicycle with you to one of these for a day in the sun! Our recommendations are Lawrence’s Beach and the Boardwalk Beach for their beautiful sights and boardwalk.
The first stop from Mabou on the Coastal Trail is Port Hood. This trail is great for biking and sightseeing so it provides a great opportunity to travel to and from Mabou and Port Hood with your rentals. You might want to use this trail for a longer journey to Judique.
The Clove Hitch is a locally owned restaurant in the center of Port Hood near Boardwalk Beach. Excellent food and beverages are offered daily for takeout or dine in. Our suggestion would be their fried chicken sandwich for takeout while you view the sunset on one of Port Hood’s beaches.
